How to update an existing extension?

To update an existing extension, you can use the OS package manager

yum upgrade pg_lakehouse_16*

And then perform the ALTER EXTENSION ... UPDATE command in the database to update the extension to the new version:

ALTER EXTENSION name UPDATE [ TO new_version ]
ALTER EXTENSION name SET SCHEMA new_schema
ALTER EXTENSION name ADD member_object
ALTER EXTENSION name DROP member_object

where member_object is:
